yes, our founder actually hates exercise

Clinical psychologist Dr. Sam Monson founded We Hate Exercise to solve a problem she knows firsthand. Born with cystic fibrosis and not expected to reach adulthood, Sam has spent her life mastering the art of self-care—including exercise, even when her body fights against it. Thanks to relentless effort and scientific advances, she now lives a full, active life—but she still hates exercise. She created We Hate Exercise to make sure no one ever feels alone in their movement journey and has the motivation they need to experience the benefits exercise offers.
